DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please inspect your package upon receipt and contact me immediately if the artwork is damaged. Please email : ang.squire@gmail.com

If any damages are found, please take a photo, with the original packaging it arrived in, within 48 hours of delivery. 

PRODUCT CARE

How to care for your encaustic artwork:

Consistent Temperature - Hang and store at normal room temperatures. Avoid freezing and extremely hot temperatures; wax will melt at 150°F / 65°C.

Avoid Direct Sunlight - Keep all artwork out of direct sunlight.

Curing - During the first 6-12 months, as the wax cures, an encaustic painting may develop “bloom”. Bloom is a naturally occurring hazy white residue. Bloom can easily be removed by buffing the surface of the painting to a high gloss using a soft, lint-free cloth. If the original sheen has become dull over time, it can be brought back by repeating the buffing process.

SHIPPING RATES

Orders are shipped within 1-3 business days via USPS. Shipping costs are determined by weight and location. Added cost for faster service during summer months will be necessary to avoid damaged to fragile medium that could soften or melt while traveling to you in hot climate.

FREE LOCAL PICKUP is available if you are in or around Sonoma County.
